ASIX Asia Satellite Internet eXchange Ltd. (ASIX) was founded in February 2005 based in Hong Kong. ASIX Group is one of the limited few SBO (Service Based Operator) licensees in Hong Kong which operate satellite teleports and provide satellite-based external telecommunications services to the general public. Now owned by Airspace Internet Exchange Group, ASIX operates its satellite teleports in Hong Kong, Indonesia and Philippines as well. This SBO license allows ASIX to offer domestic and regional International Value-Added Network Services (IVANS) and serve the Internet Service Providers (ISP) outside of Hong Kong. ASIX is now able to deliver a full range of satellite services which starts from satellite manufacturing, launching, In-orbit-test (IOT) and maintenance. The exciting invention of sister concern “Curvalux” wireless has added a significant advantage in ASIX service offering for those non-satellite solutions which can offer the highest throughput reaching to the most remote urban areas.
